Origamando Now!

Ieri sera ho partecipato ad un workshop di origami, più nello specifico Come realizzare degli splendidi orecchini di carta. 

L'origami è l'arte di piegare la carta. Ha origini molto antiche ed è legato alla religione shintoista. Citando wikipedia "..Alla base dei principi che regolano l'origami, vi sono senz'altro i principi shintoisti del ciclo vitale e dell'accettazione della morte come parte di un tutto: la forma di carta, nella sua complessità e fragilità, è simbolo del tempio shintoista che viene ricostruito sempre uguale ogni vent'anni..". 

In genere viene utilizzata della carta apposita che ha la caratteristica di mantenere le pieghe e non essere troppo rigida nè troppo morbida. Ve ne esistono due tipi: quella di riso monocolore e quella double face, da un lato a fantasia e dall'altro a tinta unita. Ma ovviamente si può spaziare, riciclando qualsiasi tipo di carta (da regalo, di giornale, di flyer pubblicitari ecc.. alle possibilità della fantasia non ci sono limiti!). Il formato utilizzato è quadrato.

Beh, inutile dirvi che il corso è stato davvero divertente e utile. Faceva parte di una delle mille attività organizzate da una mostra collettiva di arte giapponese contemporanea, Japan Now, visitabile fino al 29 settembre a Martano. Ogni settimana svolgono attività didattiche per famiglie, proiezioni di film d'autore, workshop, tutto legato alla cultura giapponese. Questo il sito, per ulteriori informazioni. Io vi consiglio di non perdere la Notte Rossa, in occasione di Cortili Aperti la mostra rimarrà aperta fino all' 1:00 quindi avrete la possibilità di visitarla con calma, oltrechè divertirvi a ritmo di Japan music. 

Questi sono alcuni momenti della serata. Eravamo in un bel terrazzo sotto la luce di calde lanterne di carta (il 7 agosto ci sarà proprio un workshop per imparare a realizzare queste lampade).

  

Sara Yo, l'insegnante è una ragazza molto disponibile che si è appassionata a quest'arte da un paio d'anni. Ci ha illustrato e guidati passo passo nella creazione di splendidi orecchini.

Questo è il mio orecchino quasi completo. L'idea degli gioielli di carta è splendida perchè ci si può sbizzarrire facilmente in ogni modo, utilizzando carte e combinazioni di colore sempre diverse, inoltre c'è il totale rispetto dell'ambiente. L'origami poi è un'arte molto rilassante che calma lo spirito (forse per chi è alle prime armi non molto, ma con un po' di esercizio si acquisisce subito una buona manualità).

Nel pomeriggio vi posterò la foto tutorial del mio origami ;) e poi mi piacerebbe vedere un po' le foto delle vostre creazioni di carta. Potrebbe uscirci un concorso ;)

Last night I attended a workshop of origami, more specifically the beautiful earrings How to make paper.

Well, needless to say that the course was really fun and useful. It was part of one of the many activities organized by a group exhibition of contemporary Japanese art, Japan Now, open until September 29 in Martano. Sara Yo, the teacher is a very helpful girl who is passionate about this art for a couple of years. He illustrated and guided step by step in the creation of beautiful earrings.

This is my earring almost complete. The idea of ​​the paper jewelry is wonderful because you can easily indulge in every way, using charts and color combinations are always different, there is also the total respect of the environment. Origami is an art very relaxing then that soothes the spirit (perhaps for those who are beginners not much, but with a little 'of the diver become immediately a good manual).
